Acknowledgement to Country

I would like to acknowledge the Melukerdee people of the South East Nation as the Traditional Custodians of the land on which I live and create, here in Cradoc. I pay my deepest respects to their Elders, past and present, and extend that respect to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.

I recognise that this land, waterways and skies have nurtured stories, culture, and art for countless generations, and that sovereignty was never ceded. As an artist working on this Country, I carry with me a deep gratitude for the enduring custodianship of the First Nations peoples, and for the creative spirit that this place continues to inspire.
